With Jake leaving and all we decided to give the kids their gifts from us while he was still here. So we had Christmas in November :)

Gracie has found a new passion, legos!! This is the first toy she will play in her room with for long periods at a time. The other night she would run out into the living room every 10 mins or so and show off her newest creation. I love this new stage!

a very confused little girl

My poor daughter is very confused! She has watched her brother go to the bathroom way too many times and now she wont sit down!! This is how I found her the other day

-she took off her diaper

-put on a pair of diaper covers as panties

-and was standing in the bathroom trying to pee

-all while eating a granola bar!

The only way I got her to sit down was to stop taking pictures and leave the bathroom. She never did go....

I need help!

will they ever stop moving?

It was another play date with our friends Faith & Allie but this time we got a special treat, little Jack. Like I've said before I love having other kids over for my kids to play with but the most fun is sitting there talking with the other mommas. This was the first play date my friend Katie came to with her little Jack. The girls loved to look at him and wanted him to "play" with them. This is very exciting for Allie and Faith because they will have a new sister in January. Now as for the girls I tried to get some good pictures of them but I swear they were trying to move really fast on purpose!! Every time I got the camera out they would run around and hide or fight. But hey I guess that's what 3 two year olds do.

Our really good friends Jeff & Dawn welcomed their first baby right before we left on vacation. Gracie and I went to see them last week and I got a few pictures before he ate and went back to sleep. He is just a perfect little boy and was so good while I was there. I heard this was not the case before I got there however for me he was great. As always Gracie loved looking at him and giving him lots of kisses. It's so much fun to see my friends as parents, I know they'll make great ones!
