"that's what I wanted"

At dinner last night Ethan was trying to describe to us the kind of desert he wanted. He said "it's like creamy and chocolate". No one at the table knew what he was talking about so we just went on and finished our dinner. When it came time to order desert the waitress gave Ethan the menu with pictures and asked him what he wanted. He went on to have a conversation with her about the chocolate/creamy thing he wanted. He kept telling her about it and she said over and over again that they had NO CHOCOLATE/CREAMY thing and the only deserts they have are these ones on the menu. He decided to order a cup of whip cream and a cup of chocolate sauce so he could make it himself. On his plate he mixed the 2 together and "tried" so hard to make the right desert but he soon gave up and said "this is not working I just need different ingredients" When the bill came the waitress gave us all Andes mints and Ethan said "I knew it....you do have the chocolate & creamy thing I wanted!" I laughed at the fact 2 hours were spent trying to figure out what Andes mints were............Ethan ended our night telling the waitress "Next time you should remember what other things you have on your menu.......(a long pause while he opened his mint).....but thanks for bring these to me!"
