father's day projects

This year for Father's Day we decided to make stepping stones with hand prints of the kids on them. I did this a few years ago before Gracie was born and it was a piece of cake......this year it was not! For some reason the cement was a lot harder to mix and pour (I made a huge mess in the sand) I also could not keep Gracie out of the bucket. Every time I turned around she had her hands inside trying to "help mommy I help mommy". After hours of working on these I left them outside because they needed to dry for 48 hours and wouldn't you know it rained! The rain made some of the prints run together so now I have to make them all over again. Oh well maybe next time Gracie wont try to eat the cement........
