Today we took the kids over to Jake's parents bar. The bar was closed so the little ones got to run around the whole place and have fun while the adults pulled weeds and planted flowers. Ethan just loves it down there he says "it's so cool they have lots of big TVs and whatever you want to eat you can have". He also enjoys ordering a drink and having his Grandma make it, today's special was cranberry juice and 7up with cherries of course! This was Gracie's first time running around there. The last time she was there she was only 4 months old. She liked to sit in the windows and watch us working outside but you know her it wasn't long before she was out there helping too.

We worked hard, played games, ate great food and the best part was we were with our family! Ethan asked how many days until he could go to the bar by himself and when I told him not until he was my age he just put his head down and said "you've got to be kidding me I'll never be that old!" I just smiled and he said "I'll be talking to Grandma & Grandpa about this"

Maybe he could convince them to make it a restaurant too :)
