Just another day playing in the backyard with mr. kitty. He was our first baby and now he is Gracie's best friend. He was just laying in the backyard trying to stay cool when Gracie came over and dumped water on him. Then she put the bowl on his head. When I went to get the camera I came back and found her laying next to him on the grass singing. He really is a good kitty to put up with her all day :)

I just don't think you can ever get enough pictures of your kids sleeping. Gracie took off her pj's and climbed into my bed but not before turning on my lamp. When they look this cute how can you get mad? You can't, so I just moved her over and climbed into bed.

more hot summer days

It's over 90 degrees and the little ones are out in the pool again. However tonight Gracie just wanted to relax in the pool instead of playing which Ethan thought was boring so he got out and played on the slipn' slide.

baby rentals

We took another trip to Salem to visit Aimee and the girls. I just can't get enough of my new niece, Aubrey. She is just so cute and cuddly as Ethan says that I want to have another baby :) When I asked Ethan what he thought about having another baby he said "oh man, you have to be kiddin me!" covered his face with his hands and ran into the other room yelling "I can't take it anymore" So I'm guessing that was a no from him. He did tell me that if I wanted another one so bad we could just bring a baby home for the day and then take it back like you do a movie. Gracie was very interested in her this time. She wanted to hold her and hug her and got upset when she cried. However, it didn't take long before Aubrey was old news and they were off playing with Chandra.

Rylee's 2nd birthday party

Our best friend Rylee is 2 years old now! Rylee had a huge birthday party last weekend with lots of friends, food and goofy kids. Gracie was very excited to see Rylee on her birthday she kept saying "Ilee party....yeah.....birt-day" and giving her lots of hugs. Again, I feel so lucky to have such a great friend and I feel even more lucky that our girls are best friends too!
